Red dunes, canyons, and engraved stone

Tadrart Rouge

In the south of the plateau, the Tadrart region is seeing its popularity grow. You will traverse a vast and superb maze of rocks and dunes in red and orange tones. This sector houses numerous rock painting sites, signs of the interest in this massif in ancient times. On foot for walks or hikes depending on the chosen formula, set off to discover the canyons, arches, and peaks of the massif, the magic of light and shadows on rocks eroded by the wind and infinite time—an unmissable Saharan stopover. The Tadrart is an open-air museum of rock art and sumptuous landscapes. Finally, return to Djanet.
